  2. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you also agree to raise a minimum amount of £500 by 31 December 2024. Should you not reach this target you agree to discuss your fundraising plans with the fundraising officer. Failure to raise this may put your place at risk.
  3. The RMBF only has one space in the London Marathon and no guarantee can be given that your application will be successful.
  4. Your application will be reviewed by the RMBF team and you may be contacted to discuss your application by email or phone. The RMBF team will make the decision on who received places.

  6. If your application is successful and you pay your £100 registration fee, we will ensure that your place is reserved for the London Marathon 2025. You will be required to complete your registration on the race organisers online entry system by the deadline date, which will be set by the London Marathon Events company.  We will provide you with full details of how to do this.  If you do not complete the London Marathon online entry system you will lose your place and you will not be entitled to a refund or a deferral.
  7. On receipt of payment of the registration fee, you will be sent a welcome pack including your running vest and fundraising support materials. Our team is here to help. We will provide advice and support to help you with your fundraising and to achieve your minimum target.

Withdrawal Policy

  1. You understand that if for any reason you are unable to participate in the event and wish to withdraw, RMBF could return any online fundraising donations to the original donor if requested. If you or your sponsors feel that donations should be refunded, your sponsors will need to contact us directly and individually.
  2. If you have purchased a charity place, we regret that your registration payment cannot be refunded or transferred. You will need to re-apply for a Charity Place in a future year (this will not be guaranteed) and you will be required to pay the registration fee and commit to the sponsorship pledge that is set for that year.  Deferrals are at our discretion and will not take place automatically.
  3. If you accept our charity place but subsequently secure your own place (e.g. through the London Marathon ballot) you must let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your charity place to someone else. You will not be entitled to a refund of your registration fee. Alternatively, you may be able to defer your ballot place to the following year but this is dependent on the Event Organiser and you must contact them directly. You may be required to pay the registration fee to the Organiser for that year.

  2. In the event that this happens, where possible, we will offer you a place in the same event on a future date. Please note, this is dependent on the terms from the event organisers.
