What do I need to know to take part?

  • Minimum age: 18 years and over
  • Fundraising target: £2000 (£500 to be raised by 31/12/25)
  • Registration fee: £100

How it works

Complete our London Marathon Runner Registration form below. Remember to tell us why you’d like to run for RMBF and how you’re going to fundraise. The more detail you can provide, the better!

2. Review

Your application will be reviewed by the RMBF team. You may be contacted to discuss your application in more detail. We will be in touch in September 2025 to let you know if we’re able to offer you a place on this occasion.

London Marathon 2026- RMBF Runner Application Form

  • You must be 18 years or over to enter the London Marathon.
  • We encourage all applicants to enter the London Marathon ballot. If you are successful in the ballot, you are still able to run for RMBF and receive a running vest and support from our team and athletics coach. There will also be no minimum fundraising amount for ballot places.
  • How did you hear about the charity? Do you have any links to the medical profession/personal connection to the cause?
  • How we use your contact details for your application

    The RMBF will use the information you have provided to contact you about the event and fundraising. We’ll email you to share event information. From time to time, we might text or call you to discuss your application or share important event news.
  • We believe you’ll also be interested to continue supporting the work we do. We will share news about how your support is directly helping doctors and medical students, as well as other ways to stay involved including future events, campaigns and financial appeals. We will share information by post or telephone UNLESS you advise us not to.
