The RMBF offers congratulations to Professor Amritpal Hungin, former Treasurer and Trustee of the charity, who has been named a Knight Batchelor by King Charles III in the New Year’s Honours list.
Professor Hungin, known as Pali, served as President of the British Medical Association, and was the founding Dean of Medicine at Durham University. He was awarded an OBE for services to research in 2008.
During Pali’s time as Treasurer, the RMBF greatly benefited from his prudent financial leadership, professional experience, and understanding of the issues facing today’s doctors. He remains a valued friend and committed supporter of the charity. Our congratulations once again to Pali on this richly deserved commendation.
