Our corporate supporters
We’re delighted to be working again in 2021 with the Medical Defence Union (MDU), the UK’s leading medical defence organisation, to help raise critical funds for medics in need of emotional and financial support.
The MDU is donating half of its Foundation Year 1 members’ £10 subscription to two charities this year. We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries. The other is the Doctors’ Support Network, another worthy charity supporting medics in need.
The MDU not only provides expert guidance and support to its members via a 24/7 helpline, but also has a range of resources available to help doctors with their wellbeing, including a health & wellbeing e-learning course and a peer support programme designed to put members in touch with others who have gone through a medico-legal investigation.

Lloyds Bank Cardnet
Lloyds Bank Cardnet works with the RMBF to offer GP practices a card processing deal that will save money on processing costs while also donating money to the RMBF. Every time a patient uses a debit or credit card, Lloyds Bank Cardnet will donate a percentage of its processing fees for the lifetime of the account, and also donate a further £50 for each new GP practice merchant account opened.
