Baroness Hollins is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability at St George’s University of London and Honorary Professor of Spirituality, Theology and Health, University of Durham.
Sheila has worked as a consultant psychiatrist, teacher, researcher and policymaker in intellectual disability and health. As an Independent Member of the House of Lords, she speaks on mental health, disability issues and adverse childhood experiences.
Baroness Hollins has been President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, President and Chair of the Board of Science of the British Medical Association. She is currently President of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists in the U.K.
