A bit about me:
Hey everyone, my name is Rosie, and I am a year 10 student with a passion for food and a heart for giving back. Recently, I combined my love for cooking with my desire to help others by hosting a Katsu Curry Dinner Night to raise money for the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund.
Why the RMBF?
I wanted to fundraise for the RMBF because doctors play such a crucial role in our lives. They give so much to help and heal us, and I wanted to find a way to give back to them in return.
The event
I chose a Katsu Curry Dinner Night for my fundraising because food has a magical way of bringing people together. Sharing a meal creates connections and warmth, making it the perfect way to support a cause I care about.
The event was amazing! I loved seeing everyone enjoy the meal I prepared. It was such a rewarding experience, and I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of my family and friends, especially my parents, who were with me every step of the way.
I truly enjoyed every part of the experience, the highlight of the night was seeing everyone come together, enjoying the meal I prepared, and knowing that we were all contributing to a meaningful cause. It was an unforgettable moment that made all the effort worthwhile.
To all aspiring medical students thinking about fundraising, definitely go for it! Every effort truly counts, and it is incredibly rewarding to see how your hard work can make a real difference.
Thank you Rosie, for your amazing efforts, meaning we can help more doctors and medical students.
