On 25th February 2026, from 5–6pm, aspiring medical students are invited to join us online for an exciting, FREE, behind-the-scenes look at life in medicine.

Hear directly from doctors and medical students as they share:

📚 The highs, challenges, and surprises of medical school
🎯 How they found their path to specialising
💡 Their advice for applying to medical school

You’ll also discover how the RMBF can support you throughout medical school. If you’re dreaming of a future in medicine, this is your chance to be inspired and informed as you take the next steps.

Yes there is no charge to join.

Where will the event be held?

On zoom. By signing up below, you will be emailed the link to join.

Who is the event for?

The event is aimed at students applying to study medicine or considering studing medicine in the future.

Behind the Scenes: Life as a Doctor Online Event sign-up form

  • Please complete the year group you will be in for the academic year September 2025-August 2026.
  • Please provide us with the name of your teacher.
  • Please provide us with the email address of your teacher.
  • Please describe briefly how you heard about the event e.g school/friend etc.
  • Hearing from us as an aspiring medical student

    The RMBF will use the information you have provided to contact you about the event. We’ll email you to share information and updates.
  • Outside of the event, we believe you’ll also be interested to continue supporting the work we do. We will share articles about medical school, how your support is directly helping doctors and medical students, as well as other ways to stay involved including future events, fundraising, campaigns and financial appeals. We will share information by post or telephone UNLESS you advise us not to.
