England
New students

Current students
- Apply online on the Student Finance England website
- From your fifth year of study on you will be applying only for the non income-assessed student loan for maintenance from Student Finance England. You should apply to NHS Student Bursaries for payment of your tuition fees and living cost support early in the academic year. This is to avoid delay in payment.
Wales
New students
- Apply online on the Student Finance Wales website or call for an application form from the Student Finance Wales phone line (0300 200 4050)
Current students

- From your fifth year of study on you will be applying only for the non income-assessed student loan for maintenance from Student Finance Wales. You should apply to the NHS Student Awards Unit for payment of your tuition fees and living cost support.
Northern Ireland
New students
- The best way to apply for your funding is online from the Student Finance Northern Ireland website. Find out how to log in and register here.
Current students
- If you’ve applied for financial support before, you can log in using the same details and re-apply. Find out how to do this as a continuing student here.
- You continue to apply to Student Finance Northern Ireland or your local office for all financial support throughout your course, even when you become eligible to claim DHPSS bursary support for your tuition fees and living costs from your fifth year of study onwards.
Scotland
New and current students
- Apply to the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) wherever you live in Scotland.
- You can only apply online on the SAAS website.
- You continue to apply to SAAS for all financial support throughout your course.
