We are pleased to announce that the RMBF is starting an exciting new back-to-work support service for RMBF beneficiaries, and we are currently training up a cohort of highly-skilled RMBF volunteers as coach-mentors to help us take this initiative forward.  As part of their training, volunteers are required to have practice coaching sessions with volunteer clients.  In these practice sessions, our volunteer coach-mentors will build up their experience and knowledge by having conversations with the volunteer clients, with the aim of making the clients more aware of their own situation and what they want to achieve.  The ultimate aim of the service, once launched, is to help RMBF beneficiaries, who have been unable to work due to ill health, form concrete plans which they will then put into practice, helping them to feel stronger and more capable of making a return to work.

We are looking for volunteer clients to work with our volunteer coach-mentors so that they can obtain their Certificate in Coach-Mentoring Skills and subsequently go on to help more RMBF beneficiaries return to work.  This certificate is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and is an internationally recognised qualification. A maximum of six sessions with a volunteer coach-mentor will need to take place and these sessions can be conducted via phone, skype or Face Time or, if the distance isn’t too far, face-to-face.  You can be at any stage in your career, including being retired, and working in any profession.  Please let us know if you’d like to help the RMBF make this a success by becoming a volunteer client, and please share this post if you might know others who would be interested.

Please email info@rmbf.org for further details and to register your interest.
