Type of help provided
IDAA strongly supports mainstream Alcoholics Anonymous as the basis for everyone’s recovery programme, but recognises that specific issues do arise for doctors that are hard to deal with in regular AA meetings, so aims to provide a safe environment to explore these issues.
How help is provided and by whom
Online based meetings, a members area of the website, affiliated meetings with the British Doctors and Dentists Group (BDDG) and access to telephone help from UK based representatives (IDAA members) across several regions.
