Virgin Money London Marathon 2020

Join #TeamRMBF for the UK’s most prestigious long-distance race

Next year’s Virgin Money London Marathon takes place on Sunday 26th April.

Last year, the event raised over £66 million for UK charities, and this year’s race is set to be bigger than ever, with over 450,000 runners entering the ballot for a place. We’re very pleased to say that we have one ballot place for the 2020 event – if you’re interested in running to support doctors and medical students in hardship, we’d love to hear from you.

I have a ballot place – can I run for the RMBF?

Of course – we’d be delighted to welcome you to the team! We can provide a full package of support from your first training run all the way to the big day, including:

  • An RMBF running vest for you to wear with pride on race day
  • A welcome pack with plenty of fundraising ideas
  • Ongoing support throughout your training
  • Opportunity to visit the RMBF offices and meet the team
  • Social media support to help boost your fundraising

Once you’ve set your own fundraising target, we’ll do everything we can to help make your fundraising a huge success. If you do have a ballot place and are interested in running for the RMBF, please contact Joe Meredith on [email protected] or 020 8545 8441 to let us know, and to have a chat about your plans leading up to the race.

I didn’t get a place – can I still run for the RMBF?

We have one charity ballot place available for the 2020 event. If you’re interested in running for the RMBF, please get in touch and let us know a little bit about yourself via the form below.

There is no entry fee, but we will set a minimum fundraising target with you.

Please note that the place will not be awarded on a first come first served basis – we will review every application individually. We aim to inform all applicants whether they have been successful by Friday 29th November.
