Wherever you live you must apply each year for student financial support.

England

New students

Apply online on the Student Finance England website

Current students

  • Apply online on the Student Finance England website
  • From your fifth year of study on you will be applying only for the non income-assessed student loan for maintenance from Student Finance England. You should apply to NHS Student Bursaries for payment of your tuition fees and living cost support. Previously your University would tell NHS Student Bursaries of any students eligible for the NHS Bursary and they would contact you with information on how to apply however for new students from 2013 onwards you will not be invited to apply, you will need to apply yourself when you have a confirmed place or early in the academic year. This is to avoid delay in payment.
