Volunteering

Find out how you can help the RMBF reach doctors and medical students who need support

The RMBF has over 250 volunteers around the country. They play a key role in helping the charity meet its strategic objectives to increase awareness of its work to reach more doctors, medical students and their families in times of crisis. They can also offer personal support to our beneficiaries as well as helping to raise funds through community and challenge events.

Our volunteer roles

We always welcome new volunteers. RMBF volunteering is a rewarding way to further your professional development and help support your fellow professionals.  By becoming an RMBF volunteer you can stand out in job applications by demonstrating your care for the medical community and at the same time boost your own wellbeing. Most of our volunteers are current or former doctors and medical students, but we also welcome non-medics who have a connection to the profession.
